Offer is bookable within 14 days prior to arrival.

Provisional Bookings:
Must be made in writing.
Held for 7 days when made 15-30 days out.
Held for 3 days when made 7-14 days out.
A 100% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
Cancellation Policy:
50% fee for cancellations 15-29 days prior to arrival.
80% fee for cancellations 8-14 days prior to arrival.
100% fee for cancellations 1-7 days prior to arrival.
Bookings made 30-60 days in advance require full payment for confirmation.
Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 5 days before full payment is needed.
A 50% cancellation fee applies if cancelled 30-60 days prior to arrival.
Safaris Included:
Day 1: Afternoon wetland game drive.
Day 2: Full day boat and western shores safari, including picnic lunch.
Day 3: Full day eastern shores and beach safari, including picnic lunch.
Day 4: Morning wetland game drive.
Alternative: Swap trips for boating in the lodge's small solar-powered boats (weather-dependent and subject to availability).
Note: Full day safaris are not available on one-night stays.

PAYMENT TERMS
Makakatana Bay Lodge reserves the right, without notice, to release any accommodation held where the required deposits and payments have not been timeously received, and to cancel any booking, with a full refund, should exceptional circumstances arise.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is the guests responsibility to ensure that their insurance covers any cancellation fees that may arise and must ensure that they have a fully comprehensive travel, medical and vehicle insurance. Makakatana Bay Lodge do not accept responsibility for any losses that are incurred.
